Job Description
The Line Cook Pizza Artist plays a vital role in a small kitchen team, directly reporting to the Head Chef. This position involves preparing high-quality pizzas by expertly handling dough, assembling ingredients, and operating traditional ovens. Creativity is encouraged through experimentation with new pizza toppings, ensuring unique and satisfying offerings for customers. The role demands adherence to food safety standards, and maintaining kitchen cleanliness to deliver excellent dining experiences.
Responsibilities
- Prepare pizzas by handling dough and assembling ingredients
- Operate traditional ovens and various kitchen equipment safely
- Maintain kitchen cleanliness and comply with food safety regulations
- Ensure quality control throughout pizza preparation and order fulfillment
- Collaborate with a small team to meet service demands efficiently
- Experiment with new pizza toppings to enhance menu variety
Preferred Qualifications
- Entry-level experience in food preparation
- Possession of a Food Handler Card
- Knowledge of food safety practices
- Experience with pizza dough preparation and oven operation
- Proficient knife skills and time management
- Strong teamwork and attention to detail
