Manager, Creative - Senior Designer

Position Summary Senior Designer, Walmart Creative Studio. Combines strategic thinking with visual design and UX principles to deliver high-quality projects and mentor the design team. Key Responsibilities Translate Figma module designs into practical templates for seamless execution by the marketing creative team. Work independently and collaboratively in a fast‑paced office environment. Build Figma templates that integrate with tools to support automation. Perform detailed visual quality assurance to ensure design consistency. Ideate and create high‑fidelity prototypes. Create redlines for development teams. Maintain a firm grasp of accessibility and usability guidelines and best practices. Demonstrate foundational knowledge of user experience research and testing methods. Actively participate in creative brainstorming sessions. Conduct walkthroughs and training sessions for the WCS team on module requirements and asset execution. Maintain the visual asset guide. Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures while upholding mission, values, and ethical standards. Balance and prioritize multiple projects across diverse timelines. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Design, Fine Arts, or related field. 3-5 years of professional design experience in advertising, e‑commerce, and production. Extensive knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite and Figma. Strong collaboration and partnering skills, thriving in a dynamic team environment. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications. Strong problem‑solving and critical thinking skills. Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot minor issues related to typography, layout, applications, and hardware. Ability to accept creative direction and excel in a collaborative team environment. Exceptional organizational skills and proactive, self‑sufficient. Proven track record of creating successful digital design systems. Comfortable working both independently and as part of larger teams. Proficient in responsive and adaptive design principles, with compliance to ADA standards. Development background is a plus. Reporting Reports to Senior Art Director, New Product.
