Production General Laborer

Our client, a leading organization in the manufacturing and distribution industry, is seeking a Production General Laborer to join their team. As a Production General Laborer, you will be part of the production support team, contributing to efficient operations and maintaining a safe work environment. The ideal candidate will demonstrate reliability, a strong work ethic, and the ability to perform physical tasks consistently, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Production General Laborer

Location: Woodstock, AL

Starting Pay: $16.00 per hour

Shift: Monday - Friday, 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM
*Some afternoon and weekend overtime may be required based on production demands at times.

What's the Job?

• Manually load, unload, and palletize lawn and garden products such as potting mix and mulch
• Safely lift, carry, and move products weighing up to 50 pounds throughout the shift
• Stack, organize, and wrap pallets according to production requirements
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following safety policies and procedures
• Assist with other warehouse and production-related duties as assigned

What's Needed?

• Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds repeatedly throughout the workday
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, twist, and perform physical labor for extended periods
• Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Previous experience in manufacturing, warehouse, general labor, or landscaping is preferred

Work Environment

• Work is performed in a non-climate-controlled environment and employees will be exposed to varying temperatures and weather conditions.
• Employees will be required to work outdoors at times as part of daily job duties.
• Position involves continuous physical activity, including repetitive lifting, bending, standing, and walking throughout the shift.
