Caregiver (CNA in-training)

POSITION OVERVIEW

The Resident Care Associate (RCA) is responsible for providing general non-certified routine services in accordance with the established procedures and may be directed by your supervisors. This role is intended for candidates interested in pursuing training to become a Certified Nursing Assistant (C.N.A).

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Assists with housekeeping and laundry services including but not limited to trash removal and making & changing unoccupied beds. Assists with all aspects of meal service including but not limited to transportation of residents to and from dining room, tray delivery, and ensuring a great dining experience. Provides great customer service, companionship, and communication with residents by answering call lights in a timely manner, checking in with residents frequently, and assisting with engagement in activities. Assists with personal care responsibilities according to state regulatory guidelines. Attends and participates in a training program leading to certification as a Nursing Assistant (C.N.A).

QUALIFICATIONS

High School Diploma or GED/HSE preferred 0-1 Years of relevant experience preferred
