Lube & Tire Technician
Nissan of Redlands , a high-volume dealership in San Bernardino County, is looking for motivated Lube & Tire Technicians to join our growing service team. If you're passionate about the automotive industry and eager to build your career, we offer ongoing manufacturer training, career advancement opportunities, and a supportive team environment.
As a Lube & Tire Technician, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance services, mounting and balancing tires, and conducting vehicle inspections in accordance with dealership and manufacturer standards.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine vehicle maintenance services as outlined on repair orders.
- Conduct thorough vehicle inspections and document all findings.
- Communicate inspection results to the Service Advisor and recommend additional maintenance or repairs when needed.
- Prepare accurate labor and parts estimates for recommended services.
- Accurately document all work performed.
- Communicate effectively with Team Leads, Service Advisors, and Service Managers while following established procedures.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area and ensure vehicles remain clean during service.
- Follow all dealership policies, safety procedures, and environmental regulations.
- Complete and maintain all required manufacturer training to enhance technical knowledge and customer service skills.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 year of automotive experience in a dealership or aftermarket repair facility.
- Basic automotive knowledge and mechanical aptitude.
- Willingness to learn and grow within the dealership.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Professional appearance and positive work ethic.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work efficiently in a team environment.
- Valid California driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to successfully pass a background check.
