About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Emergency Department Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 15:00 - 03:00 Hours per Shift: 36 Experience: Minimum 2 years License: RN license required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, CPI Must-Have: Experience with critical care gtts, sedation, ESI, and codes. Experience with STEMI, Stroke, Sepsis preferred. Familiarity with Intubation, chest tube insertion, and splinting procedures. Description: This position is for a Registered Nurse in the Emergency Department. The unit has 39 beds, with a patient ratio of 4:1. Staffing includes a free lead, unit clerk, sitters for behavioral health, paramedics, EMTs, and LPNs. The unit is equipped with Rapid Infuser and Glidescope. Documentation is managed through Meditech EDM. Scheduling requires working every other weekend. There is no floating policy in place. Focus on collaboration and care is essential for patient experience. Advanced skills in critical care and trauma care are necessary. Candidates should be prepared to participate in codes and urgent care situations. Preferred candidates should have knowledge of emergency response protocols. Candidates should wear charcoal grey scrubs as required uniform.
