Job Description

Corewell Health Family Medicine SJ is hiring a physician for their new clinic.

Candidates must be Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine. Compensation package includes a two-year salary guarantee with the opportunity to bonus based on productivity and a generous starting bonus!

Appointments of 15 or 30 minutes include; acutes, follow ups, physical exams, new patients, pediatric care, paps and pelvics, and typical primary care procedures; I & D, joint injections. The team includes 2 physicians and 3 full-time APPs. Office hours are Monday – Friday, 8am to 5pm. No weekends.

Award recipients, selected through the program’s application process, may receive up to $100,000 for three years of full-time service! 

Fluency dictation available. We are also excited to offer Abridge , a generative AI platform for clinical conversations , which allows you to focus on your patients and improve efficiency. Corewell Health utilizes EPIC as our EHR.

Essential Functions

• Assesses and monitors the medical needs of patients/significant others.

• Provides quality medical services to patients in a cost effective, appropriate manner and ensures coverage of case load at all times.

• Provides input into the development of policies and procedures as they related to medical practice and quality patient care.

• Provides oversight of Physician Assistants and Nurse Practitioners and others providing delegated services to patients.

• Evaluates patients'/significant others'/staff educational needs and develops and implements appropriate teaching strategies or delegates to appropriate resources.

• Documents in a manner consistent with regulatory standards.

• Communicates with other members of the health care team in order to ensure continuity of care and coordination of services. Acts as a patient/family advocate.

• Participates in ongoing process improvement activities through the development/application of clinical paths, process improvement and other related activities.

  Actively works with Corewell Health to meet financial and patient satisfaction goals.
