Collaborate across teams to optimize processes and ensure compliance.Job DescriptionOverviewDrive financial excellence at a leading organization, ensuring compliance and accurate reporting while supporting strategic decision-making.Collaborate across departments to streamline financial processes and resolve discrepancies effectively.Maintain general ledger accuracy and oversee month-end and year-end close activities.Prepare and analyze financial reports to provide actionable insights for management.Mentor junior accounting staff, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.Support external audits by preparing schedules and ensuring documentation accuracy.Utilize advanced ERP systems to enhance operational efficiency and reporting precision.Contribute to the development of financial strategies that align with organizational goals.Key Responsibilities & DutiesPrepare and post journal entries, ensuring accurate reconciliation of balance sheet accounts.Analyze invoices and billing data to ensure proper revenue recognition and compliance.Perform detailed reconciliations for corporate credit cards and vendor accounts.Develop and maintain Excel-based reports to support financial analysis and reporting.Prepare bank reconciliations and investigate cash application transactions.Collaborate with Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable teams to ensure accurate reporting.Assist in external audits by preparing schedules and providing necessary documentation.Guide junior staff on accounting procedures and best practices.Job RequirementsBachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field required.5-8 years of corporate accounting experience with proficiency in GAAP standards.Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with ERP systems preferred.CPA certification or eligibility highly desirable.Strong communication skills for effective cross-functional collaboration.Experience with accounting software such as BILL is advantageous.Proven ability to perform ad hoc financial analysis and support strategic initiatives.Exceptional analytical skills to resolve discrepancies and ensure compliance.
