Red Onion Galena in Galena, KS is looking for one experienced cook to join our team. We are located at 1619 K66 Highway, inside Mercy Specialty Hospital. Our ideal candidate is self-driven, punctual, and hard-working. Benefits Closed on the following holidays: New Years Day, Easter, Memorial Day, Fourth of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving (the entire 4-day weekend) & Christmas. Closed every Sunday (except Mother's Day) Shift discounts on food Family discounts on food Flexible schedule Close at 8pm, should be home by 9:15pm All team members participate in tip share Responsibilities Set up workstations Cook dishes to business standards Follow health and safety guidelines Prepare ingredients for use during shift Qualifications Proven working experience as a cook Familiarity with kitchen equipment and utensils Strong attention to detail Ability to listen and communicate effectively Hourly range includes tip pooling. Per Mercy hiring policy we will need a copy of all your childhood vaccination records. (NOT the COVID vaccine).
