We are seeking a Shipping and Receiving Clerk to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the shipping and receiving process, including recording shipments, preparing pallets of finished goods for shipment, and operating a forklift for shipping/receiving and material handling for the production floor. The ideal candidate must have strong attention to detail, strong communication skills and an ability to work well with others. Responsibilities
- Loading and unloading trucks
- Moving materials within the manufacturing floor
- Organize and maintain incoming and outgoing shipments
- Make arrangements for the arrival of incoming freight and ensure there is adequate floor space
- Document products shipped and received
- Resolve any issues or incorrect orders
- Adhere to all safety guidelines and internal procedures
- Previous experience in Shipping and Receiving or similar position preferred
- Forklift Operator, certification
- High school diploma/GED
- Basic math and computer skills
- Strong understanding of safety regulations
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Physical ability to stand for long periods and lift heavy objects
- Ability to work in a flexible environment
