About the Role

\n

Big Drop is looking for an experienced, fashion-forward Store Manager to lead our Miami Beach boutique—someone who is both a strong sales driver and an operational leader, with full ownership of the store’s day-to-day performance, team development, and customer experience.

\n

The ideal candidate is confident, energetic, proactive, and results-driven, with strong business acumen and a genuine passion for client connection, styling, driving and exceeding company sales goals and developing talent. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who thrives on the sales floor, leads by example, takes initiative, and can balance driving revenue with maintaining operational excellence.

Primary Responsibilities \n

\n
• Take full ownership of daily store operations, team performance, sales results, and overall store standards.
\n
• Lead, motivate, coach, and develop the sales team to consistently achieve individual and store-wide sales goals.
\n
• Establish clear expectations, accountability, and a high-performance sales culture through consistent coaching, feedback, and follow-through.
\n
• Manage employee scheduling, floor coverage, onboarding, training, and ongoing team development to ensure operational efficiency and optimal sales opportunities.
\n
• Monitor and analyze daily, weekly, and monthly sales performance, including individual and store KPIs, conversion, average transaction value, units per transaction, and customer retention.
\n
• Identify sales opportunities, performance gaps, and business trends, implementing actionable strategies to drive revenue, improve profitability, and maximize store performance.
\n
• Lead by example on the sales floor, actively engaging clients, styling, selling, and demonstrating exceptional customer service and effective sales techniques.
\n
• Build and maintain a strong personal client book while leading the team’s clienteling efforts through thoughtful outreach, follow-up, styling appointments, new-arrival communication, and remote selling.
\n
• Develop lasting client relationships that drive repeat business, customer retention, and loyalty to Big Drop.
\n
• Maintain extensive knowledge of Big Drop’s designers, new arrivals, best sellers, product fit, current fashion trends, and available inventory.
\n
• Oversee all daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures, cash handling, end-of-day reporting, inventory management, receiving, transfers, replenishment, and back-stock organization.
\n
• Ensure inventory accuracy, investigate discrepancies, and oversee timely follow-through on RTVs, RAs, SWAPs, tailoring, dry cleaning, and product quality control.
\n
• Ensure adherence to company policies, loss prevention procedures, and operational standards while proactively identifying and implementing process improvements.
\n
• Partner with other departments to ensure cohesive storytelling across all company touch points
\n
• Partner with ownership and the buying team on sales initiatives, product feedback, merchandising opportunities, store events, and strategies to drive continued business growth.
\n
• Resolve escalated client concerns and team challenges with professionalism, discretion, and a solutions-oriented approach.
\n
• Foster a positive, collaborative, energetic, and results-driven work environment while maintaining high standards of professionalism, accountability, and customer service.
\n
• Demonstrate strong business acumen, initiative, urgency, and sound judgment, taking ownership of challenges and implementing long-term solutions.

Qualifications and Experience \n

\n
• Minimum of 3 years Retail Store Management Experience required.
\n
• Proven experience in working within a sales driven environment.
\n
• Customer centric - proven ability to foster and maintain personal relationships with clients to build brand loyalty for Big Drop and MALKA (our private label)
\n
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, cross functional team environment setting
\n
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to interact effectively with diverse personalities (customers, team members, partners, etc.)
\n
• Ability to cascade and communicate clear objectives and inspire the team to reach their highest potential
\n
• Ability to efficiently execute operationally, adhering to processes and systems to maximize team and business results, and identifying opportunities for improvement
\n
• Ability to stand, lift (within reason) on the sales floor and operationally in BOH
\n
• Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed to support the business 
\n
• A proactive and entrepreneurial sense of urgency and ability to prioritize important work with good judgement & reason
\n
• Proven ability to recruit, train, coach, motivate, and hold team members accountable.
\n
• Experience with Shopify POS preferred.
\n
• Must have open availability for a flexible work schedule that meets the needs of the business, including overnights, evenings, holidays and weekends

• This position compensation ranges from 75k-90k/annual base salary
