Store Manager

Role Overview Responsible for managing store operations, including staffing, training, inventory, merchandising, and customer service. Ensures compliance with policies, maintains safety standards, and oversees financial integrity through cash handling and security practices. Key Responsibilities Recruit, hire, train, and evaluate employees; manage performance and conduct. Ensure proper staffing, opening, and closing of the store. Analyze sales, profitability, and expenses to identify business trends and opportunities. Manage inventory levels, ordering, and stock presentation according to company standards. Maintain store cleanliness, safety, and security; ensure tools and equipment readiness. Deliver superior customer service and foster a positive work environment. Ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and legal requirements; complete documentation accurately. Qualifications & Skills Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Knowledge of cash handling, inventory management, and merchandising practices. Ability to perform mathematical calculations and interpret operational documents. Experience in retail management preferred; high school diploma or equivalent strongly preferred. Ability to lift up to 40 pounds regularly, with occasional lifts up to 55 pounds; frequent walking, standing, bending, and climbing.
