Details Work in the Operating Room department of a hospital setting Day shift (5x8 hours, 6:45am-3:15pm) or evening shift (5x8 hours, 2:45pm-11:15pm) available with various start times Weekend and on-call shifts required per department needs Floating required within the hospital or to a nearby affiliate hospital Epic/Excellian EMR experience required for some positions Wide range of surgical specialties including vascular, gynecology, orthopedic, cardiovascular, general surgery, urology, robotics, bariatrics, and neurology procedures Requirements Active MN RN license required (pending license accepted) BLS certification required Minimum 1 year of OR experience required with strong surgical background Community hospital experience required Prior travel nursing experience required Experience with Epic charting system required Minimum 1 supervisor reference required for consideration Must have completed fingerprinting through LiveScan as required by Minnesota state law Additional Information Perform circulating and/or scrub duties across a broad range of surgical specialties and procedures Utilize specialized OR equipment including electrosurgical units, fiber optic light sources, and Hana Table Complete pre-start training modules prior to assignment start Candidates who previously worked as perm staff must have been separated for at least 3 months before returning as a traveler Facility does not provide references to travelers post-assignment or to those who previously worked as perm employees Locals accepted only for radiology positions; all other positions require candidates to live at least 100 miles from the facility RTO should ideally be no more than 5 days First-time travelers are welcome to apply American Traveler Job ID P-748091.
