Job Description
An unarmed security guard card holder is responsible for maintaining safety and security at designated locations without carrying a firearm. This role requires vigilant observation, effective communication, and adherence to security protocols to deter and respond to incidents. Guards are typically stationed at single or multiple posts during day shifts and report to site managers or security supervisors.
Responsibilities
- Monitor safety and security at access points, lobbies, and parking lots
- Conduct regular security checks and patrols
- Report incidents clearly and promptly
- Communicate effectively with site managers and security supervisors
- Manage crowd control when necessary
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols
- Maintain a visible security presence to deter unauthorized activities
Preferred Qualifications
- 1+ years of experience in security services
- Valid unarmed guard card
- Strong observation and incident reporting skills
- Conflict resolution experience
- Knowledge of access control procedures
- Heightened safety awareness
