Via Paving is seeking an experienced Paver Operator to join our growing field team. This role is critical to delivering high quality asphalt paving projects safely, efficiently, and to specification.

The ideal candidate takes pride in their work, understands production paving, and works well as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate asphalt paver safely and efficiently on commercial and municipal projects
• Maintain proper asphalt depth, slope, grade, and joint quality
• Coordinate closely with screed operators, laborers, and rollers to ensure consistent mat quality
• Read and follow project plans, grades, and production targets
• Perform daily equipment inspections and basic maintenance
• Communicate proactively with foremen and supervisors regarding production, quality, and job conditions
• Follow all company safety policies and job site procedures

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience operating asphalt paving equipment
• Strong understanding of asphalt paving practices, mat quality, and production flow
• Ability to work in a fast paced, outdoor construction environment
• Reliable, punctual, and team oriented
• Valid driver’s license
• US Citizen or work VISA

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience operating highway class or commercial pavers preferably Vogele pavers
• Experience working on commercial, industrial, or municipal projects
• Ability to assist with screed setup and troubleshooting
• CDL is a plus but not required
