Medical Call Center Specialist - Winter Haven and Lake Wales

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Answer, orient, and greet patients in an enthusiastic manner. Determine the appropriate clinic location and schedule patients into our computer system accordingly. Obtain required demographic, insurance, and eligibility information and enter it into the system accurately to ensure proper claim filing. Determine if the patient’s insurance needs a referral and start the referral process. Maintain professional working relationships with all contacts, both internal and external. Provide timely responses to all inquiries (verbal / written) regarding patient accounts. Exhibit high patient-service attitude at all times. 100% of work time spent on answering calls and scheduling appointments. Professional & Pleasant voice. Detail oriented. Ability to log a lot of necessary information into the system accurately. Ability to work as a team. Complete daily tasks. Qualifications: At least one year of previous experience in healthcare.
