Volt is hiring for a Industrial Maintenance Mechanic Supervisor for a leading manufacturing facility in Hayward, CA .
As a Industrial Maintenance Mechanic you will:
- Lead and supervise maintenance technicians in daily repair and preventive maintenance activities
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment
- Coordinate maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and maximize productivity
- Inspect, test, and diagnose machinery and equipment malfunctions
- Ensure equipment is operating safely and efficiently
- Review blueprints, schematics, and maintenance manuals to support repairs
- Manage maintenance work orders and documentation
- Order parts, tools, and supplies as needed
- Support facility maintenance projects and equipment installations
- Ensure compliance with company safety policies and OSHA standards
- Train and mentor maintenance personnel
- Work closely with production teams to maintain equipment reliability
Schedule: M-F 5:30am- 2:00pm
This is a Temp-to-Hire opportunity.
The ideal candidate will have:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Previous maintenance supervisory experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment
- Strong mechanical aptitude and equipment troubleshooting experience
- Experience with hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and mechanical systems
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals
- Knowledge of preventive and predictive maintenance programs
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Experience using hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment
- Welding, fabrication, HVAC, or plumbing experience is a plus
- Commitment to workplace safety and continuous improvement
Pay Rate: $28/hr. plus DOE
*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
