Inpatient Registered Nurse - Nights- PRNs are an integral part of the surgical team, providing essential nursing care to patients during surgical cases. Their role requires a high level of accuracy and professionalism in a fast-paced surgical environment. Inpatient Registered Nurse - Nights- PRNs are responsible for ensuring that patients receive the highest standard of care during surgery. Their ability to maintain a professional approach while providing nursing care is critical in ensuring positive patient outcomes while keeping patients and their families informed. Will work directly with surgeons, medical/surgical staff and post-acute caregivers to create comprehensive patient care from pre- to post-op. Responsibilities:

• Directs and provides professional nursing care for an assigned group of patients across the age continuum, while complying with the Arizona Nurse Practice Act.
• Utilizes the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation to direct or provide nursing care.
• Provides supervision and guidance to other members of the surgical nursing unit; and may be authorized, in the absence of the manager of patient care services, to make decisions affecting the nursing unit.

Requirements:

• Unencumbered RN license
• Minimum 1-2 years Nursing Experience preferred, but not required
