**This is an onsite role in Farmers Branch, TX Monday - Friday from 7am - 4pm**

Hi-Line is a nationwide distributor of 100,000+ industrial aftermarket products across industries like transportation, aviation, facilities maintenance, aerospace, medical, military, marine, power generation, manufacturing, and heavy equipment.

The ideal candidate has a can-do attitude, high integrity, and a growth mindset. This person should be a skilled professional who is comfortable working on the floor of a Distribution Center, able to lead a team, and analyze data to make decisions. We’re looking for a leader who can work effectively with various levels of the organization to get things done, loves learning, and can help us grow to the next level.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities : 

• Maintain a staff of cross-trained and effective DC Operation Team Members.
• Manage all distribution operational areas including inbound, outbound, packaging, stocking, returns, kitting, spooling, equipment operation, and inventory control.
• Lead quality control efforts.
• Establish departmental priorities, staffing plans, work assignments, and performance expectations.
• Exercise independent judgment in resolving operational, staffing, inventory, quality, and customer-service issues.
• Develop staffing plans based on order volume, service requirements, productivity expectations, and business growth.
• Monitor overtime, attendance, scheduling, labor utilization, and departmental operating expenses.
• Build leadership depth through coaching, cross-training, succession planning, and employee development.
• Maintain a safe and compliant work environment by identifying hazards, enforcing safety procedures, investigating incidents, and implementing corrective actions.
• Administer corrective actions as necessary, up to and including termination.
• Conduct annual performance reviews with each team member.
• Maintain documented policies, procedures, and best practices.
• Improve Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s).
• Suggest, develop, and implement improvements.
• Facilitate training opportunities for the entire DC Operations Team.
• Participate in ongoing professional development activities to continually improve job-related skills.

Requirements:

• 10+ years’ experience managing an Operations Department
• Experience with 20k+ SKUs preferred
• Distribution experience in prior role(s)
• Prior experience leading a team of 20 or more employees mandatory
• Advanced knowledge in Excel
• Superb leadership and communication skills
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Exceptional analytical and strategic thinking abilities
• Ability to multitask, prioritize and delegate daily activities
• Bachelor’s Degree preferred
