Senior Software Engineer - Machine Learning

Salary: $134,000 - 174,000 per year Requirements:

• We require a bachelors degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Robotics, or a closely related discipline, plus at least 4 years of relevant experience; or a masters degree in one of those fields plus at least 2 years of relevant experience
• We need hands-on experience building multi-object tracking systems with machine learning models
• We look for solid machine learning expertise and a strong record of developing and deploying deep learning solutions with PyTorch or comparable frameworks
• We need strong background in computer vision, perception, and deep learning
• We expect proven experience shipping perception software products to industry or end users
• We require at least 4 years of development experience in Python and C++
• Nice to have: a Ph.D. with a machine learning focus, or equivalent experience
• Nice to have: experience developing and deploying machine learning models under compute constraints

• We develop spatio-temporal machine learning models for multi-object tracking and uncertainty estimation
• We build machine learning models to estimate road features, lane markings, road geometry, and road topology
• We review research, analyze raw data, and design state-of-the-art solutions
• We move solutions from research through the test track and onto public roads for production use
• We partner with perception specialists and experienced roboticists on design, prototyping, testing, deployment, and productization
• We establish and uphold strong software engineering practices and principles
• We write clean, efficient software for perception modules that interface with other key systems
• We take initiative and contribute as a valued team member in a fast-paced, innovative, entrepreneurial environment
