Requirements

• 1 year of CDL-A OTR experience
• No DUI/DWI in the last 5 years
• No more than 3 moving violations or 3 preventable accidents
• No excessive speeding (over 21 mph) in the last 3 years
• Must be above 23 years old at the time of applying

Vacancy description

Operate long-haul dry-van freight out of Rockville, MD for HMD Trucking as a solo OTR driver. Key responsibilities include safe, timely delivery of loads, thorough pre/post-trip inspections, accurate logkeeping, and proactive coordination with dispatch and maintenance.

Responsibilities:

• Safely operate company dry-van tractor-trailers on interstate lanes.
• Perform inspections, report issues, and work with in-house maintenance to keep equipment road-ready.
• Maintain trip records and communicate ETA changes to dispatch.

Requirements:

• CDL-A and at least 12 months verifiable driving experience.
