About the Role AForMotionLab Technician-I supports the fabrication, maintenance, and repair of prosthetic and orthotic devices according to prescription and under the guidance of certified clinicians. Ensures work meets quality standards andmaintainsa clean, safe work environment. What You’ll Do Key Responsibilities: Fabricates basic orthotic/prosthetic devices as instructed. Performs routine maintenance and minor repairs on devices and tools. Testsdevices for movement, alignment, and basic stability. Completes assigned work orders accurately and on time. Maintains organized, clean lab workspace. Adheres to all safety and quality procedures. CompetencyAreas: Ethical Conduct Detail-Oriented Basic Problem Solving Effective Communication Willingness to Learn Supervision: Works under close supervision. Mayassisthigher-level technicians. Who You Are High School diploma or equivalent. 0–2 years of industrial or hands‑on technical experience (machine shop, auto repair, etc.). Comfortable with tools and physical labor. Must be available during clinic operating hours and able to uphold policies with professionalism and fairness. Physical demands includeliftingto 50+lbs, dexterous hand use, standing, bending, and visualacuity (close, distance, color, depth perception).
