Our client, a leader in the logistics and transportation industry, is seeking a Delivery Driver- CDL B to join their team. As a Delivery Driver- CDL B, you will be part of the operations team supporting local deliveries. The ideal candidate will demonstrate reliability, strong communication skills, and a commitment to safety, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Delivery Driver- CDL B - PERMANENT PLACEMENT!
Location: Pine Island, NY
Pay Range: $52,000/Yr
Shift: 7am-5:00pm - Monday-Friday
What's the Job?
- Operate commercial vehicles weighing over 26,000 pounds, such as box trucks and curtain side trucks, in compliance with safety regulations.
- Drive predetermined local routes within the tri-state area, including Long Island, NY, NJ, and PA.
- Load, unload, and secure heavy freight using appropriate material handling equipment.
- Interact professionally with customers, deliver HVAC and plumbing supplies, and obtain delivery signatures.
- Maintain accurate logs and paperwork, verify cargo loads, and report any damages or discrepancies.
What's Needed?
- High School diploma or GED equivalent.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience operating commercial vehicles.
- Valid CDL B license.
- Knowledge of DOT safety and log regulations.
- Strong attention to detail and customer service skills.
