Qualifications
Trained Phlebotomist
Graduated from phlebotomy program
2-3 years’ experience in an acute care setting
Experience working independently with complex specimens preferred
Task/Duties
Accessions clinical pathology specimens
Principal responsibilities involve duties of drawing bloods following policies for
positive patient identification for inpatients and outpatients as well accession all
incoming specimens. Manual dexterity, keen observational skills and sound
judgment are required to correctly identify patients prior to venipuncture
Work Schedule
- Monday through Friday, Day shift; hours may vary.
