Manufacturing Quality Technician

Primary Talent Partners has a new contract opening for a Manufacturing Quality Technician with a multinational science and technology company in Indianapolis, IN. This is a 6-month contract with a potential for extension.

Pay: $21.00/hr ; W2 contract, no PTO, no Benefits. ACA-compliant supplemental package available for enrollment. Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States and must be able to sit on Primary Talent Partners W2 without sponsorship.

Schedule: Monday to Friday - 1st shift

Description:
This individual will be responsible for the following:

• Support activities related to the site gage calibration program, such as collecting gages to be calibrated, following up with departments to ensure timely submission of requisite gage calibration records
• Enter quality data into pre-defined computer programs
• Conduct product inspections via documented work instructions (visual inspections and entering that in computer programs)
• Identify and report any quality issues in the cell

Qualified individuals will have the following:
Must Haves:

• Basics math and computer skills (Must Have)
• Ability to understand and adhere to policies and procedures (Must Have)
• Detailed oriented, quality conscious, and an aptitude for maintaining records (Must Have)
• High School Diploma or GED required (Must Have)

Preferred qualifications:

• Ability to read prints and graphs
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability and desire to work in a team orientated environment
• Ability to identify production or quality issues
• Ability to routinely work with small parts
• Must be a good team player, be open to change, and work well with others
• 0-2 years of work experience in a manufacturing environment (preferred)
