Kitchen Assistant/ Helper

National Star Services is a 28-year-old facility management company providing different services all nationwide and we are now in search of Helpers to work at our location in Des Plaines, IL 60018. Duties and responsibilities:

• Be part of a team, creating high-end products served daily to hundreds of international airline guests.
• Assist chefs and kitchen staff with food preparation, fruit and vegetable cutting, assembling small dishes, plating meals, and preparing airline catering trays.
• Read, understand and follow menu specifications.

Ensure kitchen spaces are kept clean, organized, and sanitary. ‣ Maintain hygiene, quality, and safety standards at all times. Schedule: Monday - Sunday (With two days off during the week). From 10:00 AM - 6:30 PM (We will work 40 - 50 hours per week) Regular pay rate: $17.50 per hour Overtime: $26.25 (paid bi-weekly). Requirements:

• Per our client’s request, Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is required for this role.
• Must be authorized to lawfully work in the US.
• Must have two updated valid forms of IDs.
• Slip Resistant shoes at work.
• Own transportation to get to and from work.
• A Background check and Drug test will be conducted.
• Must be able to start working as soon as possible.
