Superintendent

Responsibilities included in the role but not limited to:

 

1.New Path Construction and Consulting is a General Contracting and Construction Management firm. Your responsibilities will include working in cohesion with other team members, clients and subcontractors in the daily activities needed to build a successful project. You may also be required to perform other services for the betterment of the Company from time to time.

 

2.You will be required to be the point of contact for a range of staff and external stakeholders including but not limited to – coordinating subcontractors, managing owner relationships, scheduling meetings and appointments both internal and external.

 

3. Your Construction Operations Responsibilities will include:

 

• You will be required to be on jobsites; exact locations will be based on project location.
• Working as a Superintendent and helping with typical Superintendent job site responsibilities.
  • Including but not limited to:
    • Manage subcontractors, schedules, quality, cleanliness and safety
    • Opening and securing projects
      • You are typically expected to be the first on site and last to leave. In order to properly watch over the subcontractors.
    • Coordination of inspections
    • Initiating RFI’s from the field
      • Tracking and close out
    • Daily logging on NPC software
      • Documenting work force, man hours, issues, delays, visitors, deliveries, etc.
    • Daily photos
      • Downloading daily photos on NPC software
    • Schedules – Three week and Master Schedules
      • Put together and maintain three week look ahead schedules
      • Assist the Project manager with master schedule and milestone updates
    • Assist the Project Manager with miscellaneous on-site needs.
• Typical work hours will be 7:00 am to 3:30 pm but may vary day to day pending job site requirements.

 

1. You will be required to conduct yourself in a very professional manner as this impacts on the image of the company. You will at times interact with clients and design professionals.
   1. Superintendents must garner internal trust and respect through honest work at an efficient and effective level You will be asked to keep a positive attitude, have good overall communication
2. You will be expected to be available during normal worktime hours. Night and weekend work may be required from time to time, based on workload.
3. Use your skills and have good problem-solving abilities.
