Financial Reporting Manager

Financial Reporting Manager – 10826 Location: Coppell, Texas (Dallas area). Full‑time Direct Hire. Posting date: June 16, 2026. Our client in Coppell is looking for a Financial Reporting Manager. The role manages all areas of financial reporting, including SEC filings, internal and external reporting, consolidation, and cash flow preparation. The manager also supports internal controls and serves as a resource for technical accounting matters. Principal Duties and Responsibilities Prepares financial statements and disclosures in accordance with U.S. GAAP for SEC filing, including Forms 8‑K, 10‑Q, 10‑K, and Annual Report. Oversees monthly consolidation and foreign currency translation process and collaborates with domestic and international accounting teams to review subsidiary financial statements for accuracy. Reviews intercompany eliminations and works with accounting teams to correct discrepancies. Prepares monthly consolidated statement of cash flows. Prepares monthly financial reporting packages for senior management. Provides coaching and training to the Financial Reporting team and the Accounting department. Stays current on FASB and SEC developments and assists with technical accounting research, including analysis, preparation, and implementation of new accounting standards. Participates in maintenance and review of financial reporting internal controls documentation. Provides assistance to external auditors during quarterly reviews and annual audits. Develops and implements process improvement initiatives related to financial reporting, consolidation, and technical accounting. Ensures all financial reporting deadlines are met. Experience and Skills Required College degree in Accounting. CPA, active license status required. 4–7 years minimum experience with public accounting firms and/or public company financial reporting; retail experience a plus. Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and technical accounting principles and internal control processes. Based in Dallas/Fort Worth area. Ability to research technical accounting matters and document accounting policies. Facilitate and coordinate multiple deadlines, prioritize diverse tasks, and respond quickly to management requests. Experience with Workiva, Cognos Controller, and/or MicroStrategy a plus. Experience and proficiency with XBRL tagging and reporting a plus. SOX and internal controls experience a plus. #J-18808-Ljbffr
