Our client is a growing organization seeking a detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join its Finance and Accounting team. In this onsite role, you'll support day-to-day accounting operations, maintain the integrity of financial records, and ensure GAAP compliance. You'll report to the Accounting Manager and partner across the organization on financial reporting, board reporting, tax compliance, banking requirements, and acquisitions.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform general ledger maintenance and record recurring transactions
• Prepare, reconcile, and maintain subsidiary ledgers and account reconciliations
• Support month-end and year-end close
• Prepare schedules and workpapers supporting the close, annual audit, tax returns, bank covenants, and Board materials
• Support acquisition and major transaction accounting
• Research accounting treatment for complex transactions
• Assist with annual audit and tax return preparation
• Prepare quarterly Board of Directors reporting and ad hoc reports

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field
• 3+ years of progressive corporate accounting experience
• Solid working knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting
• Advanced Excel skills; ERP experience a plus
• Experience with multiple legal entities preferred
• Strong analytical, research, and communication skills, with the ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment
