We’re not looking for someone who is an expert in every trade. We’re looking for a well-rounded technician who can look at a problem, troubleshoot it, and figure out the right next step. What You’ll Work On Our technicians handle a variety of service calls, repairs, preventive maintenance and punch-list work, including: Commercial doors, locks, closers and hardware Drywall repair, patching and texture Interior and exterior painting and touch-ups Basic plumbing repairs and troubleshooting Basic electrical repairs, switches, receptacles and fixtures Cabinets, shelving and trim repairs Fixture, hardware and accessory installation Ceiling tiles and minor ceiling repairs Caulking, sealing and weatherproofing Punch-list and turnover work Preventive maintenance General facility repairs and troubleshooting Safe use of power tools and common repair equipment Experience in commercial facilities, apartment maintenance, hotel maintenance, property maintenance or a similar environment is a big plus. What We’re Looking For Troubleshooting ability is one of the most important parts of this position. We need someone who can look at something that isn’t working, think through the problem and determine what needs to happen next. Just as important, you need to know your limits . If a repair requires a specialty trade, falls outside your experience or you aren’t sure how to proceed, we expect you to stop and communicate with the team rather than guess. The right person will also: Be dependable and show up when expected Communicate clearly with our office and customers Be comfortable working independently Take clear before, during and after photos Properly document completed work Keep customer properties clean and protected Present themselves professionally Be organized and able to manage multiple stops in a day Take care of company tools, equipment and materials Be comfortable driving between customer locations Schedule & Hours Please read this section carefully before applying. Because of the nature of facility maintenance, the schedule may vary based on our workload and customer needs. Some days may include several smaller service calls at different locations. Other days may be spent primarily at one larger project. Start times, locations and total weekly hours may vary. This position may begin part-time , with some weeks around 20-25 hours and busier weeks closer to 35-40 hours . Our goal is to grow this into a consistent full-time position as our workload continues to increase. However, we do not want to promise 40 hours immediately. We are looking for someone who is genuinely comfortable with that flexibility and interested in growing with us. Where This Position Can Go SiteCare Group is a growing company.
