Senior Power Electrical Engineer

Our client, an industry leader in energy solutions, is seeking a dedicated and innovative Senior Power Electrical Engineer to join their dynamic team. Job Title: Senior Power Electrical Engineer

Location: Mays Landing, New Jersey

What's the Job?

• Apply advanced design knowledge in power distribution, control systems, and equipment specification and selection to support project objectives.
• Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary engineering teams, construction project managers, and clients to ensure project success.
• Perform detailed engineering and design tasks, including preparing drawings, specifications, and calculations for electrical systems.
• Oversee procurement processes, evaluate bids, and provide technical and commercial oversight of major electrical equipment in support of EPC contracts.
• Support startup, testing, troubleshooting, and performance upgrades of electrical systems to optimize plant operations and reliability.

What's Needed?

• A 4-year degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) from an accredited institution.
• Approximately 10 years of experience in commercial, industrial, or power engineering environments.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Strong communication skills and comfort with public speaking.
• PE license is preferred but not mandatory; active pursuit is acceptable.
