Family Medicine Physician (OB/GYN) - Casa Grande, AZ - $280K Salary Plus Sign-On Bonus

We are looking for a Family Medicine physician with obstetric training who wants to keep practicing the full breadth of the specialty - primary care for the whole family alongside obstetric and gynecologic care - in one collaborative Casa Grande practice, with an OB hospitalist team coordinating deliveries and a full clinical team behind you.

Overview & Highlights:

• Location: Casa Grande, Arizona - a growing Pinal County community set between the Phoenix and Tucson metro areas, with an easy commute and a noticeably lower cost of living than either.
• Schedule: Monday through Friday, 40 hours per week.
• Compensation: $280,000 annual salary.
• Benefits: PTO and sick time, annual CME allowance, medical, dental and vision coverage, 401(k), malpractice and professional liability coverage, and employer-paid license and DEA fees for both the initial application and every renewal.
• Sign-On Bonus: Up to $50,000, with a 2- or 3-year promissory note and reimbursement agreement.
• Relocation Bonus: Up to $10,000, with a 2- or 3-year promissory note and reimbursement agreement.
• Position Type: Full-time, direct-hire employee role; one opening.

Location & Logistics:

• Work Environment: A collaborative, multidisciplinary outpatient practice.

• Coverage Model or Hours: Monday through Friday, 40 hours per week.
• Delivery Coverage: You follow your obstetric patients through pregnancy while an OB hospitalist team coordinates the deliveries.
• Call Expectations: Deliveries are coordinated with the OB hospitalist team; the specific call structure is reviewed during the interview process.
• Team Around You: Midwives, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, nurses, and specialty colleagues.
• Travel: No routine travel required.
• Start Timeline: We are hiring for the right long-term fit and can be flexible on timing. We welcome candidates available to start immediately, as well as those considering a planned transition over the next 12-24 months.

About the Opportunity / A Day in the Life:

This role was built for a Family Medicine physician with Surgical Obstetrics training, an OB/GYN fellowship, or equivalent experience - someone who did not want to give up obstetrics and gynecology when they finished residency, and who wants a practice broad enough to keep all of it.

Your clinic days span the lifespan. You will see adolescents, adults, and seniors for preventive visits, routine examinations, screenings, diagnostic testing, and ongoing treatment, and you will keep those relationships over time rather than handing them off.

Alongside that panel, you will run a full gynecologic and obstetric practice: prenatal and postpartum visits, contraception and family planning, menstrual disorders, menopause management, and the office procedures that go with them - colposcopy, hysteroscopy, endometrial biopsy, Pap smears, IUD insertion and removal, and other biopsies, plus minimally invasive gynecologic procedures within your scope and privileges.

You will not carry any of it alone. Midwives, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, nurses, and specialty colleagues share the work day to day, and the OB hospitalist team is the partner that makes the delivery side of this practice sustainable rather than all-consuming.

Job Duties & Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive Family Medicine care to patients across the lifespan, including preventive visits, screenings, diagnostic testing, and chronic disease management.
• Perform routine obstetric and gynecologic examinations, screenings, and diagnostic testing.
• Diagnose and manage gynecologic conditions, including menstrual disorders, menopause symptoms, and reproductive concerns.
• Provide prenatal care, screenings, ultrasounds, and monitoring of fetal development.
• Coordinate deliveries in collaboration with the OB hospitalist team.
• Provide postpartum care, including recovery, newborn, and breastfeeding concerns.
• Perform office-based gynecologic procedures such as colposcopy, hysteroscopy, endometrial biopsy, Pap smears, IUD placement and removal, and biopsies.
• Perform minimally invasive gynecologic procedures and surgeries within your clinical scope and privileges.
• Counsel patients on contraception, family planning, preventive care, and reproductive concerns.
• Collaborate with midwives, NPs and PAs, nurses, physician colleagues, and specialists to coordinate patient care.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the EHR.
• Practice in accordance with applicable clinical regulations, professional standards, and ethical guidelines.

Required Qualifications:

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
• Completed Family Medicine residency, board certified or board eligible.
• OB/GYN fellowship training, Surgical Obstetrics training, or equivalent experience.
• Eligible for Arizona medical licensure, DEA registration, and clinical privileges.
• Strong clinical judgment and clear, patient-centered communication.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Hands-on experience with office-based gynecologic procedures such as colposcopy, hysteroscopy, endometrial biopsy, and IUD placement.
• Experience managing an obstetric panel in a shared-coverage or hospitalist-supported model.
• Comfort practicing alongside midwives, NPs, and PAs in a team-based clinic.
• Current Arizona medical license.
