Qualifications Here's What You Need H.S. Diploma or Equivalent is required 1 year of pharmacy tech experience is strongly preferred Hospital experience is a plus RPhT - Registered Pharmacy Technician Upon Hire is required And IV Certification is strongly preferred. Proficiency in written and verbal English language, computers, the ability to adapt to various software systems, and basic math including conversions, proportions, ratios, and algebra. The ability to work alone and as part of a team. Timely and accurate preparation, delivery to the nursing units/appropriate departments & storage of medications, including (when appropriate) the use of technology to do so, varies by location. Ensuring accuracy of one's own work as well as the maintenance of required competencies, and other documentation. Must reflect consistently departmental quality improvement and Patient Safety standards, programs, and initiatives. 25% Ongoing professional development and growth, leads by example, perpetuates accountability, manages own time.
