Claims Adjuster

Job Number 262000 - Full-time, Monday-Friday, 8 a.m.-5 p.m. Shift 1st Shift Job Overview Schneider is seeking a Claims Adjuster in Green Bay, WI to investigate, analyze and resolve claims and incidents. The Claims Adjuster will negotiate claims involving property, injuries, freight, workers compensation and subrogation. Responsibilities Manage initial and ongoing field investigations. Secure all necessary information to properly evaluate claims made against Schneider. Act as the single point of contact for all parties involved in managing a claim. Review claims for negligence, liability exposure, damages, subrogation potential, fraud and more. Ensure actions and strategies are executed that will provide the best overall outcome for the organization. Work with the Counsel in cases where legal actions have been initiated by or against Schneider. Attend hearings, trials, mediations and settlement meetings as a corporate representative. Accurately document all claims activities. Skills and Qualifications Associate degree or paralegal certificate. 2-4 years of relevant work experience. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong attention to detail. Pay and Benefits Medical, dental and vision insurance. 401(k) savings plan with company match.
