Warehouse Associate
Location: Sumter, SC
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM

About the Role

We are seeking a motivated  Warehouse Associate to join a busy distribution facility in Sumter, SC. This position is hands-on with warehouse operations, but the primary focus will be on  inventory accuracy and cycle counts . The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, good with numbers, and experienced in warehouse operations.

What You’ll Do

• Oversee daily warehouse activities including  order processing, shipping/receiving, and inventory management .
• Conduct  cycle counts and maintain accurate inventory records.
• Identify and resolve inventory discrepancies quickly and effectively.
• Train, guide, and support warehouse associates, ensuring productivity and safety.
• Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently.
• Assist Warehouse Manager with workflow and reporting as needed.
  

What We’re Looking For

• Previous warehouse experience with strong knowledge of inventory control and cycle counts.
• Experience in a  leadership or supervisory role is preferred.
• Strong  organizational and problem-solving skills — detail-oriented and good with numbers.
• Ability to lead by example while also working hands-on with the team.
• Forklift certification (or ability to become certified).
• Basic computer skills (Excel, WMS, or similar).
