Agricultural Equipment Mechanic

Seeking a dependable, mechanically inclined Agricultural Equipment Mechanic to repair and maintain farm equipment that is pulled or operated by tractors

Agricultural Equipment Mechanic Details:

  • Temp-to-Hire position
  • $15.00 / hour
  • Full Time work available
  • First Shift ( Monday through Friday from 08:00am to 05:00pm )
  • Repair and maintain farm equipment and implements pulled by tractors.
  • Diagnose mechanical issues and perform necessary repairs.
  • Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and adjustments.
  • Use hand and power tools safely and effectively.
  • Perform basic mechanical repairs and equipment maintenance.
  • Assist with keeping equipment in safe, working condition.
  • Perform basic cutting or repair work using a welding torch as needed.

Agricultural Equipment Mechanic Qualifications:

  • Previous mechanical or equipment repair experience preferred.
  • Agricultural or mining equipment experience is ideal.
  • Heavy equipment repair experience is a plus.
  • Experience using a welding torch for cutting or basic repairs is a bonus.
  • Basic welding/fabrication experience is a plus.
  • Must be dependable, mechanically inclined, and safety-minded.
  • Ability to bend and stand for long periods of time.
  • Lift 50 lbs.
  • Applicant may be subject to a background check
  • Pre-employment drug screen is required as a condition of employment
