About the Role:
The CNC Router Operator plays a critical role in the manufacturing process by precisely operating computer numerical control (CNC) routers to cut, shape, and finish materials according to detailed specifications. This position requires a strong attention to detail to ensure that all products meet quality standards and design requirements. The operator will be responsible for setting up machines, loading materials, and monitoring the cutting process to maintain efficiency and accuracy.
Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate CNC routers according to job specifications.
- Load raw materials onto the machine and secure them properly for processing.
- Monitor machine operation to detect malfunctions or deviations and make necessary adjustments.
- Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of CNC equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Maintain accurate production records and report progress to supervisors.
- Knowledge of safety protocols and best practices in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
- Previous experience working in a fast-paced production setting.
- Experience operating CNC routers or similar CNC machinery.
- Ability to perform manual measurements and quality inspections.

The CNC Router Operator utilizes technical skills daily to set up CNC machines accurately, ensuring that each cut aligns with precise design specifications. Attention to detail is critical when inspecting finished products to maintain high-quality standards and reduce waste. Communication skills are important for collaborating with team members and reporting any issues or improvements.
