Lead Mover & Driver – College Students, Veterans, Skilled Trades encouraged to apply! We are a moving company located in San Antonio that picks up people’s belongings and transports them to new locations. Compensation & Benefits Hourly Pay: Base hourly rate ranges from $17 to $30.25 depending on experience and role (Co‑pilot during training: $23–$25.50/hr; Lead after training: $25.50–$30.25/hr). Over time rates apply, and a $5/hr on‑call bonus is provided. Benefits: W2 employee status with full employee benefits, workers’ comp, overtime protections, and half employment taxes covered by Einstein. Health insurance including vision and dental. Short‑term disability coverage. 401(k) with 4% match. Flexible vacation and paid parental leave (5 days starting, 10 days after 1 year). Paid bereavement leave (2 days). Typical Day Typical days involve arriving with your crew, loading the truck, and transporting items. Tasks vary from a 2‑hour studio apartment move to a multi‑day 5‑bedroom house with heavy items, requiring coordination, problem‑solving, customer interaction, and physical labor. Must-Haves Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull heavy objects up to 125 pounds overhead, 200 pounds individually, and 500 pounds in coordination. Minimum age 21. At least two years of personal driving experience with a clean driving record (no major violations in the last 3 years). Pass a criminal background check, physical, and drug screen. Excellent customer service skills, willingness to learn, and motivation to help. Availability to work 3+ days a week, preferably Thursday–Sunday. Own reliable transportation (car, motorcycle, or scooter). Nice-to-Haves College degree or current enrollment. Prior moving experience. A friendly pet.
