Territory Sales Representative

Role Description The North Mississippi Territory Sales Representative is a full-time, hybrid role based in Collierville, TN. This position is responsible for managing an assigned sales territory, including visiting customer sites, conducting in-person and virtual meetings, and building strong relationships with contractors and businesses. Day-to-day tasks include prospecting new accounts, following up on leads, demonstrating equipment, preparing quotes, and handling sales deals from start to close. The role also involves tracking sales activities, maintaining accurate CRM records, and collaborating with service and parts teams to provide a seamless customer experience. The Territory Sales Representative is expected to meet or exceed sales targets, stay informed about product features and industry trends, and represent Ditch Witch Mid-South at trade shows, training sessions, and local events. Qualifications: 2-4 years experience in B2B sales, Utility Construction, and/or the HDD industry is preferred. Strong skills in communication, prospecting, lead follow-up, relationship building, and customer service. Ability to conduct product demonstrations, explain technical features clearly, and tailor solutions to customer needs. Competence with CRM/C4C systems, basic Microsoft office software, and remote communication tools for hybrid work. Solid negotiation, presentation, and written and verbal communication skills. Self-motivated, organized, and able to manage time, travel schedules, and multiple opportunities independently. Valid Class D Commercial Drivers License and willingness to travel regularly within the assigned territory. College degree in business, marketing, or a related field is preferred. Prior experience in construction equipment, underground utility, or industrial sales is a plus. Commitment to safe work practices and adherence to company and customer safety policies.
