Job Title

Registered Nurse - Emergency Department

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Onsite | Shift: 10:30 AM – 11:00 PM

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a high-volume, 64-bed Emergency Department serving newborn, pediatric, adult, and geriatric populations
• Manage and monitor patients presenting with common diagnoses including stroke, sepsis, trauma, myocardial infarction, cardiac arrest, and respiratory failure
• Administer and titrate required drips and medications including pressors, vasodilators, anti-arrhythmics, sedation agents, anticoagulants, and thrombolytics
• Operate specialty equipment including Rapid Infusor and Arctic Sun as needed
• Float to other units within the facility as required
• Demonstrate charge nurse capability when needed

Required Qualifications

• Active New York State Registered Nurse license (verified and in good standing)
• Minimum 3+ years of Emergency Department experience, including some pediatric experience
• Current AHA certifications: ACLS, BLS, and PALS
• Current NIHSS certification
• TNCC certification required
• Proficiency with EPIC EMR

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Charge nurse experience in an emergency department setting
• Prior travel nursing experience with documented history
