Cyber Intelligence Analyst - Junior

Purpose and Impact: Amentum is seeking Junior Cyber Intelligence Analysts to support our U.S. Department of Energy contract. Position will be based in the Washington, D.C area.Work Schedule: 5 days, 8 hrsEssential Responsibilities: Provide a wide range of Cyber Intelligence (CI) services to deliver timely, actionable, and relevant threat intelligence on hostile nation-states, cyber adversaries, and criminals seeking to conduct malicious cyber activities against U.S. energy sector partners.Minimum Requirements (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities):2–4 years supporting cybersecurity, cyber intelligence, SOC operations, incident response, or threat analysis.Experience with SIEM platforms such as Splunk, Microsoft Sentinel, QRadar, or Elastic.Familiarity with MITRE ATT&CK, NIST Cybersecurity Framework, and RMF.Security+ required (or ability to obtain within six months).Security Clearance Required: Active TS/SCI or DOE Q#javelinThis position is not designated as a safety sensitive position.As part of our commitment to maintaining a safe and compliant work environment, Amentum is a drug-free workplace and requires all personnel to comply with company drug and alcohol policies as a condition of employment.
