What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, employees, and/or contractors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control practices, and emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of building interiors, exterior areas, parking facilities, entrances, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual activity, maintenance concerns, and security-related conditions.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorization as required by site procedures, and maintain accurate activity, incident, and visitor documentation.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and/or emergency responders according to established procedures.
• Maintain a professional presence and communicate clearly with property management, tenants, and Allied Universal leadership regarding daily operations and security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• At this site, there are limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
