• Facilitate insightful one-on-one speech therapy sessions aimed at enhancing communication, language, fluency, voice, and swallowing capabilities.
• Work alongside physical and occupational therapists, nurses, doctors, caregivers, and family members to construct seamless care plans.
• Educate patients and their families to bolster support and progression beyond the clinical context.
• Assist in providing inpatient speech therapy evaluations and interventions occasionally, ensuring a smooth continuum of care.
• Document all interactions accurately and promptly in compliance with state, federal, and organizational regulations.
• Engage in continual learning and professional development to stay updated with the latest field advancements.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
• Completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if yet to achieve ASHA certification.

Certifications

• Current state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist.
• Preferred: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification must be obtained within 30 days of employment.
