As we expand our automation capabilities, we're seeking a talented Manufacturing Engineer with expertise in software, robotics, and industrial automation to join our dynamic team.What You’ll DoAs a Manufacturing Engineer in Software, Robotics & Automation, you’ll focus on introducing practical automation into products and processes that were originally designed for manual or non-automated environments. Our products span a varied spectrum of complex assembly requirements, and you’ll help translate that variability into scalable bespoke automation approaches. You’ll assess what can be automated safely and cost-effectively, define the right architecture and interfaces, and deliver robust, creative and innovative solutions that can be supported on the factory floor.Key Responsibilities:Assess existing products/processes and identify automation opportunities, constraints, and required design changesDesign, develop, and integrate automation solutions (robotics, tooling, test/inspection) into existing manufacturing workflowsDefine interfaces between product, fixtures, and control software; partner with design and hardware teams to enable automation readinessImplement sensing and inspection (e.g., vision, force/torque, basic analytics) to improve quality and reduce manual stepsValidate and troubleshoot automation in production: safety, cycle time, yield, uptime, and maintainabilityCreate and maintain requirements, commissioning/validation records, and user documentation for long-term supportWhat We’re Looking ForRequired Skills & Experience:Proficiency in one or more automation-focused languages/tools (e.g., Python, C/C++, LabVIEW) and version controlMultiple engineering disciplines – Mechanical / Electronic / Electrical.Hands-on experience integrating industrial automation (robotics/automated assembly solutions) into manufacturing.
