We’re seeking an experienced EEG Tech to perform electroencephalogram studies and support exceptional patient care in Asheville, NC. Job Details

• Contract Length: 13 Weeks
• Shift: Day Shift
• Schedule: 3x12
• Experience Required: 2 Years
• Pay Rate: $31 to $35 per hour

Responsibilities

• Perform routine, ambulatory, and continuous EEG studies according to established protocols
• Prepare patients for EEG procedures by explaining the process and applying electrodes accurately
• Monitor and record brain wave activity while ensuring quality and accuracy of test results
• Identify and document patient responses, events, and abnormalities during testing
• Troubleshoot equipment and technical issues to maintain optimal study quality
• Maintain accurate patient records and neurodiagnostic documentation
• Ensure patient comfort, safety, and confidentiality throughout procedures
• Collaborate with neurologists, physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals
• Follow infection control, safety standards, and departmental policies

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Graduate of an accredited Neurodiagnostic Technology program preferred
• Current EEG certification 
• Minimum 2 years of recent EEG Tech experience
• Current BLS Certification required
• Strong knowledge of EEG equipment, electrode placement, and neurodiagnostic procedures
• Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills
• Strong communication and patient care abilities
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment
