Medication Technician Memory Care

Job Details Job Location: St Augustine, FL 32092 Salary Range: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour Job Category: Health Services Position: Medication Technician – Memory Care Community: The Greens, Frontier Senior Living Shifts and Schedules available: 7am-7pm and 7pm-7am; each other weekend required. The Medication Technician role is integral to safely administering medications and treatments to residents, maintaining accurate documentation, and supporting a high‑quality, collaborative care environment. Primary Duties and Responsibilities Administers medications and treatments according to schedule, following the medication administration protocol. Maintains confidentiality of resident and fellow employee information. Notifies Resident Care Coordinator/Executive Director/RN of resident changes in condition. Assists with monthly medication records as needed. Maintains cleanliness, organization, and restocking of the medication room and cart. Has knowledge of, and can demonstrate proper technique, or can learn to assist with equipment such as gait belt, sit‑to‑stand lift, transfer board, oxygen equipment, C‑Pap, Nebulizer, catheter, specimen, transfer pole, trapeze, wheelchair, scale, and other equipment as directed. Capable of taking accurate vital signs and weights. Fills in for the receptionist as directed by Executive Director/Resident Care Coordinator. Fills in for a caregiver when needed. Can assist in care needs of residents, including lifting requirements up to 40 pounds. Works as manager on duty as directed by Executive Director/Resident Care Coordinator. Maintains current certification in First Aid/CPR and Medication Administration. Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor or management staff. Qualifications High school graduate preferred. Proficiency in English required. Attends monthly in‑services required for position. Has familiarity and willingness to work with the elderly population.
