CT Technologist

This position is for a CT Technologist in a Radiology Cat Scan Department located in a facility with significant bed capacity and a dedicated staff team.

Unit Information

Number of Beds: 900+
Staffing: 17 Technologists
Staff Composition:

Day Shift: 1 Supervisor, 7 Technologists
Night Shift: 5 Technologists

Patient Ratios: Variable
Type of Equipment: 4 Siemens CT Scanners, 1 GE CT Scanner
EMR: Meditech, AGFA PACS, GE Centricity RIS

Typical Hiring Profile

Required Skills: Candidates must possess the following skills:

General CT
CT Angiography (PE)

Preferred Skills: Experience with Siemens equipment is advantageous.

CT Abdomen/Pelvis without/with Contrast
CT Head
Stroke Protocol
Triple Rule Out

Best Personality Fit

The ideal candidate is work-oriented yet casual, capable of engaging effectively with a variety of personalities. Collaboration within a team environment is essential, as the technologist will not work alone.

Required Certifications

ARRT (CT)
Texas Medical Board Certification

Floating Areas

This position may involve working in the Emergency Department.

Dress Code

Scrub Color/Attire: Black pants, Olive tops.

Availability

This position does not require on-call duties. Weekend shifts may be specified.

Experience Requirements

A minimum of 2 years of experience is preferred.
