Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced OR Circulator RN for an urgent travel assignment at a hospital in Granbury, TX, requiring 2+ years of OR experience and proficiency in robotics and multiple surgical specialties.

Details

• Works in the Operating Room of a hospital setting with 6 OR suites and 2 endoscopy suites
• Surgical specialties include orthopedics, urology, gynecology, general surgery, robotics (Da Vinci Xi), and endoscopy
• 1:1 patient ratio
• Day shift: Tuesday–Friday, 6:30 AM–5:00 PM
• On-call required approximately 5–7 days per month
• No block scheduling
• No floating required
• Paper charting
• Scrubs are provided by the facility

Requirements

• Active TX RN license or compact RN license required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required (must not expire within the first 30 days of the assignment start)
• Minimum 2 years of OR experience required
• Experience in ortho, urology, Gyn, general surgery, robotics (Da Vinci Xi), and endoscopy required
• Travel nursing experience preferred
• No employment gaps of 90 days or more in the past 12 months
• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
• Valid driver's license required for consideration

Additional Information

• Role is an OR Circulator position — scrub tech applicants are not applicable
• Travelers who have worked at any CHS facility as permanent staff within the past 2 years are not eligible for this position
• RTO requests must be less than one week; maximum of 3 days RTO allowed per contract
• Certifications must not expire within the first 30 days of the assignment start date
