Caregiver Position at Comfort Keepers

We are currently hiring compassionate and reliable HCAs and CNAs to support clients. At Comfort Keepers, we provide uplifting in-home care for seniors and other adults who require a helping hand, a supportive companion, and day-to-day assistance in their homes. Caregiver Job Benefits:

Caregiver Responsibilities:

• Provides friendly companionship and assistance with daily activities including dressing guidance, grooming, meal preparation, medication reminders, running errands, laundry and light housekeeping
• Personal Care including bathing, dressing, mobility, incontinence care, feeding and other services
• Provides transportation to doctor's appointments, beauty shops, etc.

Caregiver Requirements:

• Companionship and/or Personal Care experience
• A passion for the job and genuine desire to help others
• A safe reliable car with Up-to-date car insurance in your name, registration and valid Driver's License
• A willingness to travel within Mercer Island and surrounding cities
• Applicants must be eligible to work in the United States and pass a criminal background check, fingerprint check and work related references
• NAC or HCA certification
• Hoyer Lift Experience

Position Physical Demands:

• The work requires moderate physical exertion on a regular and recurring basis, such as driving, assisting clients in transfer activities and ambulation, and light housekeeping.
• Regularly required to stand, sit, walk, talk, hear, see, reach, kneel, and crouch.
• Lifting only up to 25 pounds is permitted and may be required.
