Your Day on the Road

Picture this: you start with a meticulous pre-trip inspection, confirm your HazMat paperwork, and map your route between Sazerac facilities and approved destinations. You roll out on schedule, manage Hours of Service with precision, and communicate proactively with internal teams. Every mile, you embody safety, accuracy, and professionalism—delivering materials reliably and representing the Sazerac brand the right way.

• Operate a Class A tractor–trailer safely and efficiently, adhering to DOT and FMCSA regulations at all times.
• Transport materials between Sazerac locations and designated consignee sites with consistency and accuracy.
• Maintain complete and accurate ELD/driver logs, trip documents, and pre-/post-trip inspection (DVIR) records.
• Follow federal, state, and company safety rules, including compliant hazardous materials handling.
• Report safety concerns, incidents, and equipment defects immediately and clearly.
• Deliver professional, courteous service when working with internal partners and external contacts.
• Follow SOPs and contribute ideas that improve efficiency and safety.
• Uphold a reliable, professional presence aligned with company values.

• Valid Class A CDL with active HazMat and Tanker endorsements.
• Clean MVR and the ability to pass required DOT drug/alcohol testing.
• 2+ years of recent commercial driving experience.
• In-depth knowledge of DOT/FMCSA regulations and HOS compliance.
• Willingness to work nights, weekends, and non-traditional hours as needed.
• Self-directed communicator who is dependable and team-oriented.
• High school diploma or GED.

• Current CDL License
